Muri Beach Resort is your perfect wedding location - imagine your ceremony on our beachfront deck overlooking a tropical palm fringed island or on our white sandy beach under the coconut trees with the tropical island backdrop. Both options offer you the magical setting for your dream wedding.

Let your personal on-site wedding coordinator take care of everything for you from the formalities of registering for the marriage license, booking your celebrant, choosing bouquets, creating the perfect relaxed setting, arranging those extra special touches and of course your after ceremony celebrations, that will give you a lifetime of memories in one day. Tropical Beach Wedding Package for NZD$1,200

  • Onsite Wedding coordinator

  • Ceremony on the resort's beachfront, beachfront deck or within the resorts tropcal gardens

  • Transport to the courthouse for registration

  • Standard registration costs

  • Celebrant

  • Witnesses (if required)

  • Floral arrangements - Head Ei or bouquet for the bride and neck ei or buttonhole for the groom. (Ei - decoration made from local flowers)

  • A bottle of chilled sparkling wine for the bride and groom following their ceremony to celebrate the occasion

  • Groomed and decorated outdoor venue

  • Decorated signing table

  • Recorded background music of your choice

  • Internationally recognised Certified Marriage Certificate

To book and confirm your WEDDING CEREMONY

We ask for just NZD$1000.00 non-refundable deposit.

Additional deposited required for WEDDING RECEPTION bookings at Nautilus Resort

Tropical Island Escape Wedding Package for NZD$1,550.00

  • Ceremony held on the beach on Koromiri Motu (a tropical palm fringed island nestled in Muri lagoon

  • On-site wedding co-ordinator

  • Transport to the island for the bride and groom and up to 4 guests (For additional guests please add $15.00 pp)

  • Transport to the courthouse for registration

  • Standard registration costs

  • Celebrant

  • Witness (if required)

  • Floral Arrangements - Head Ei or Bouquet for the bride and neck Ei or buttonhole for the Groom (Ei- decoration made of local flowers)

  • A bottle of chilled sparkling wine for the bride and groom following their ceremony to celebrate the occasion

PRE-WEDDING & CEREMONY EXTRAS:

REGISTRATION FOR MARRIAGE LICENCE

The Cook Islands allows international visitors to marry here with ease. The Cook Islands' government required that the bride and groom reside in the country for three working days from the day of license application to the day of the wedding ceremony. 

This requirement can be waived by the Registrar if you have a good reason and with a written request. There is a Registrars fee associated with this option.  

All you need to provide for your license application is: 

  • Birth certificate or certified copies of them

  • Passports

  • If previously married, divorce papers or death certificates of previous spouse.

Note: All documentation must be in English or have an English translation

We welcome the family and friends of the bride and groom to stay with us.

WEDDING CEREMONY BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Deposits due on booking ($1500.00). Wedding deposits are non-refundable.

  • 2nd deposits: 50% of costs due 3months prior to event

  • Final Payment: required 1 month prior to event- Final numbers and ceremony arrangements (catering, florists arrangements, outside suppliers)

  • Cancellation fees will apply for cancellations and will be charged as follows. Any cancellations within -

    • 30 days of the event receive a 50% cancellation fee

    • 7 days of the event receive a 100% cancellation fee
